(Re)Location: Berlin

I began drawing type after coming to Berlin in early 2008. Inspired by the type I found in the streets, I drew an alphabet, cut it out of paper, photographed it, put it into the computer and made a book with it. The pages of the book are loose so the reader can re-shuffle the order for a different perspective. Personal writing, directions I used riding my bike around the city, and bits of German picked up from the street and from my German English dictionary make up the content. The book is about Berlin and finding one’s way.
