You Should Be
This is my first book. It is about my younger sister and our growing up together. I made it while living in Minneapolis, and she in Lincoln, Nebraska. To make a book about my sister and about growing up in Nebraska, I had to make a lot of things up. The result is a book that borders on the line between reality and fiction. I used up to nine different women in the photographs throughout the book who all make up the slightly fictional character of my sister. I wrote the poem that makes up the text of the book and took all of the photographs.
