The Yellow Wallpaper

This is a hand made book of the short story The Yellow Wallpaper, by Charlotte Perkins Gilman. Written in 1891, it is an early piece of feminist literature. Also included is a list of primary signs and symbols to provide a deeper reading of the story. These symbols are foot noted through out the book in yellow. The entire word or phrase is highlighted in yellow within the text block and is referenced by yellow numbers residing in the outside column of the page. These numbers correspond with a section in the back of the book. The book also includes a short biography of the author, which provides a deeper understanding of her life and the times that the story was born of.
