From their website: Ins Leere gebaut, or Built into the Void, is a series of events presenting global contemporary architectural issues particularly recurrent in Berlin’s present urban development. The first part of this series of events, supported by the Instituto Cervantes, Berlin, presents the aforementioned issues as global ones: the need for new urban centres in contrast to the preservation of a city’s past, the redefinition of open spaces as well as of the urban venues for the arts, or the necessity of understanding the city as project.
